LESSON 18: BASIC SERVICES OF EDUCATION MEDIA CENTER

Reflection

     I learned that educational media center plays a vital role in the field of education, it gives or help or provide a quality support for teaching and learning through the integration and use of technology. So we should be thankful that because of them we embraced technology in learning our lessons.

      As a future teacher, media centers are a big help for us especially in schools for the elevation of the standard of a school. It can also help the students to add their knowledge, because if they have a vacant they can easily go to the media center to study and with that they can make their vacant time more productive.

LESSON 13: COOPERATIVE LEARNING WITH THE COMPUTER

Reflection :

Cooperative or collaborative Learning is learning by small groups of students who work together in a common learning task. It is also called Group Learning. This lesson teaches us that cooperative learning is very helpful in order for the students to learn more. By cooperating, and socializing with peer group, Students becoming impatient with others in the group ceasing to work cooperatively. Aside from learning they also learn on how to share their ideas and their opinions to others. As a future educator we must also apply this to our students in order to have an effective learning.

LESSON 10: THE COMPUTER AS A TUTOR

Reflection :

The computer is can be a  tutor, It can help the teacher to less their role inside the classroom  but bear in mind that computer cannot totally replace the teacher since the teacher shall continue to play the major roles of information deliverer and learning environment controller. Teacher is must really important in a way that they are the one who facilitate the learners on how to used it properly, The role of computer is that it is the source of information and assist the teacher and as our helper in any task especially in researching some information, We all know that in researching computer is very useful so as a future teacher we must be aware that computer is very important.

LESSON 7: THINKING SKILLS FRAMEWORK

REFLECTION:

Through this lesson we already know that it is the students themselves who demonstrate higher thinking skills and creativity through such activities searching for information, organizing and synthesizing ideas, creating presentations, and the like. The educator acts as a facilitator, assess the students in maintaining and developing their skills using the different types of IT- based project. Through IT students enhanced and develop their skills and become more expert about   technology.

LESSON 8: HIGHER THINKING SKILLS THROUGH IT-BASED PROJECT

Reflection

This lesson may also use for the improvement of the better use of learning resources. this lesson really helps us, as a future teacher, since teachers are always use this resource material most of the time. As a future teacher this lesson is very useful in our field because it is our obligation to teach our students into becomes a good and responsible one especially in making their projects. It is the teacher responsibility to guide the students and observe the progress of the students.

LESSON 6: IT ENTERS A NEW LEARNING ENVIRONMENT

Reflection:

This lesson helps us to discover the four models schools learning and we all know that this models is very helpful in the teaching learning process especially in integrating technology. As a students we were able to know that there are better ways to learn other than memorization. As a future teacher we must engaged our future students in teaching process by the use of this four models which are very useful in learning process. This lesson is very helpful in a way that students  already have a strategies on how to learn.

LESSON 4: BASIC CONCEPTS ON INTEGRATING IN INSTRUCTION

Reflection:

 We all know that during the traditional time, teachers used old visual materials like chalkboard, paper and pencil, book and others, but we all know nowadays teaching styles become modern. Most of the teachers now are using the technology like power point presentation in discussion, through using technology students were motivated to listen in class discussion and focus to the discussion. Through the use of technology teachers catch the students attention, In that way students learned and gained from the lesson. In this lesson students become computer literate. Now a days we all know that some of the students were not using computer in a good way some of them abused it, some a re using games and in watching porno graphs but all in all hands-on computer skills are necessary.

This lesson awaken us that those other countries  are really progressive when it comes to the development of computer, We are also aware that the other country has unlimited facilities in computer technology. They have also their expert instructor  that's why even elementary grades are already aware with then use of computer because of the fact that computer play a vital role with our learning. When we compare of the students in the Philippines with the other country we know that students in the other country are much expert than students here in Philippines. In order for our country to be globally competitive we must need to engage ourselves in computer technology by the help of Educational technology.

 This lesson teaches us to be aware with the use of different use of computer software including micro soft, power point and micro excel. Through this lesson students or even teachers will know how to used this. As a future teacher we are given a chance to become effective teacher someday in which we will able to apply this to our students. We are being thought for a better teaching someday which is also helpful to both teacher and students. This lesson help us to be prepared for our future carrier and this also help us to be an effective teacher to our students in the future.

Through this lesson we will able to know the uses of computer, because we all know that nowadays computer has the very big help in our life especially to us educator. This lesson also teaches us to recall about our previous lesson in educational technology 1 in which we may use in knowing this next subject which is the educational technology 2.
